Before moving on to paint and colour, let’s digress to talk about products that get your finish smooth after you’ve laid the finish down. It’s certainly not mandatory to polish your freshly painted vehicle but if you want a flat finish that is highly reflective and looks deep, polishing is the way to go. It’s a lot of work and must be done with care but there’s no other way to get the same result. And, even under the best painting conditions, “stuff” will be in the air (and subsequently in your finish).
