You'll see from the accompanying photos that there was a lot to see at Deuce Day. The cars came in all colours and interpretations and in various stages of completion. E.g. Mexican blanket (olé) to fine leather, primer to hand-rubbed, vintage racer to smoothie. All nice and very appropriate. |

Nice spread eh! (the eh's for our U.S. friends only) |

What about the people at Deuce Day? Glad you asked! Nice as the cars, even nicer. It was great to spend some time with George, meet Debby and some of the Brizios, great guys Charlie Caldwell & Dan Alioto (famous name if you've ever strolled the Wharf in S.F.) and The Jokers. I've included a photo of Charlie and the Deuce he's owned since 1951. Check out the photo of the authentic Von Dutch work on Charlie's dash. Too cool for sure. |
