Much has been commented on, and discussed locally, about the Ontario Ministry of the Environment’s actions relative to enforcement as it applies to classic and collector cars, hot rods, etc. Various kinds of actions have been suggested as a methodology to make the hobby’s concerns heard.
M.P.P Steve Clark (Leeds-Grenville) has provided a petition that can be used to make our voices heard in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario through his representation.
In order to assist with this initiative, we are making available, as direct download, his petition in PDF format.
I urge you to download and print it, collect the required information from concerned hobbyists and forward them by mail to the address at the bottom of the petition (NOT to your local M.P.P)
Edit: If you would prefer, I will forward to them as a show of solidarity from this community. You can find a mailing address HERE.
As these elected representatives have considered a petition a viable and useful methodology to voice our concerns, we should help them out to the extent possible.
Should any other information become available, further communications will be made.
Thanks for your support.

These laws are getting out of control, I understand where the MOE is coming from, but Customization, Restoration, and Hot Rodding is truly an art. Its like telling an artist, “you can only draw this”, and taking their pencil away when their imagination takes them to wherever it may, as it should. The laws are necessary, yes, but there should be a limit. Its ruining many hobbyist dreams and hopes, which is not right. There are emissions coming from everywhere, not just automobiles, and in all honesty, they should be the least of our worries when it comes too the environment. I hope something gets done about this, for my sake, and every other Artist out there.
