As you first look in the bathroom...

Turning to the right....

Further to the right...notice the motor night light on the right and the embroidered hand towel on the left near the machined aluminum toilet paper holder.

The gas pump holds liquid handwashing soap. You literally have to lift the pump hose off the holder and press the lever to receive your soap.

We purchased a tool chest and sink and made a bathroom vanity out of it. The drawers open to find hotrod magazines (just in case) and extra towels and wash cloths.

The main back wall with diamond plate crown moulding and base trim with a shelf to match holding Eugene's old metal toys. Some of Eugene's favorite hotrod magazine covers are framed on the wall.

A look to the left...the alarm clock in the center of the shelf has lights and makes motor sounds.

HOLY POTTY TIME!!!!Look out I gotta go now!!! What?? No beer fridge & appies?? Very nice, shud be in Better Homes & bathrooms!!! frank:D

GREAT bathroom, Eugene. I always say they eat up more money and time to build than any other room (well, maybe kitchen)

:)

that is cool....does the toilet make an engine sound when you flush it or just a backfire sound ??:D

I love hot rod bathrooms.

Kiwi Kev, from Ventura Ca, has one of the best I've ever seen. I got the privilege of spending some time in his bathroom a few months ago.

Hey All: Sorry the pictures are on their sides...it did that when they were loaded onto photo bucket.

Stovbolt: Not sure what you mean....

Jalopy Kid: Nice! Thanks for sharing...anyone else have a cool bathroom?

Gramps: Gotta chuckle out of that posting! I think you hit the nail on the head with the "backfiring!"

John in Oz: Yes, lots of work...but worth it! Eugene and I enjoyed putting it together! Just wish we didn't have to move in a couple of years and leave it behind. Hopefully the next person will enjoy all of the love and hard work that went into designing and creating it!

Youngadmirer: Thanks!

James WC: I agree...which is why he put a basin tub just outside of the bathroom to wash his greasy, grimy hands in, instead of dirtying the good sink! LOL!

Cam383: Me too! Thanks!

PG409: Very true...you DON'T want to know how much it cost to do this one!

41plycpe: You made me laugh! No, no fridge or appies...however, I was tempted to buy the tool chest fridge I saw for sale! What a nice compliment about the Better Homes and Bathrooms...Thanks so much!

Bullet--hahaha--that would be my shop one too

Eugene --wow-- I wouldn't want to mess it up by going in there with greasy hands and coveralls---by the time I got cleaned up to use the mens room it would be too late--:D

Jackie built it now it's your job to keep it clean???????

You got it, Uncle Robert! You KNOW how it is...his shop, his bathroom, his responsibility! LOL!
