I am Southbound65 and I live in Indiana. Alaskagasser told me about your Canadian Rodder site. I have a couple of Anglia car bodies & I just bought me a Anglia Thames project.

Welcome, welcome.......actually there are quite a number of Anglia/Thames guys on this site. And, there are lots of older drag racing photos of Canucklehead
Brit cars in various posts/threads here.

And, as we always say, photos would be great !!:)

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah Alaska Gasser told me about the Canadian Rodder website awhile back. I had joined awhile back but had not posted anything until today. I answered someones posting and Alaska Gasser told me that I needed to do a new person introduction.

I am working on getting some pictures of the Anglia Thames project I just bought put on here. Also I am posting the pictures for anyone who might be interested in the new Thames drag racing chassis I have listed for sale.

James__WC, yeah I am already on the Anglia Yahoo Group. Did you ever find a pair of Anglia car body doors?

Well thanks again everyone. I will try and get the pics up soon. Give me a little time to get this site all figured out. I was trying to reply everyone separately but could not figure that out yet.

I am keeping the Thames body. It will come with the narrowed 9" Ford pumpkin and the strut front suspension and rack and pinion. I would like to keep the wheels & tires, but for the right price I might let them go with it. The previous owner has receipts ( he gave me ) for over $20,000 for the new Thames drag racing chassis build. I am building a Anglia Thames street rod. I am asking $12,000 for it or if your a chassis builder I would trade for a 47-53 Anglia Thames ( 100 inch wheelbase ) street rod complete rolling chassis package & some cash.

When Ozzy Bob sees this he will go all weak. They are a pretty cool little rod when done right.

Shorts thanks for the welcome.

I have talked with a few people on here that also belong to an Anglia website. I like looking at all the pictures of the old gasser cars. I actually live only about 2 miles from Lucas Oil Raceway Park ( formerly known as Indianapolis Raceway Park )............where they hold the US Nationals every year. Actually that is where I saw my first Anglia car.
