52 Lincoln Capri Build

I might have mentioned this before but I used my radio speaker grill opening for my air and heat vent. Grill and the surround is made of metal and it gets frost on it in the summer time when the air is on full. Frost ends up melting and drips. Pisses me off. If I turn the air down theres no issues but if I’m going to have air I want snow coming out of those vents. My other vents are from a freightliner truck. Chromed plastic. Look good and don’t frost up. Just a heads up when looking for a vent grill.

OK, update on the car. The upholstery is pretty well done. It starts and sounds good . I need to do a few small changes to the sending units, but pretty happy with the outcome so far. Now I have to wait for the roads to clear to give it a proper shakedown before going on the dyno. Hopefully I can get my alignment and inspection done before the spring thaw car show. Either way I will have it on the road this year

Thanks all. I thought this time would never come lol.
JB. As you can see my camera lens is buggered and isnt taking clear pics. I will take some more and hopefully a video when i fix it and the some more trim pcs are put on.

Officially on the road again ! WooHoo
Passed the OOP inspection today, got my plate, and did some more road testing.
I was trying out the cruise, and when I tapped the brakes to disengage it and it felt like it didn't, so I applied the brakes and the throttle stayed on o_O
Pretty scary feeling. The power brakes really work good ! Went from doing 40mph to do doing a brake stand burnout! Went back home and discovered the brake switch lever had stuck to normally open . Easy fix , but pretty hairy ...
Other than that, a few little bits to work on and then off to the dyno next week for a tune (y)(y)
