2024 Spring Thaw Show, Calgary

There sure were lots of eager owners to show their vehicles. This was the first classic/muscle/hot rod gathering for the Calgary area.
(Note: on Saturday there was a tuner gathering)

Sunny but cool with a north wind, which was suppose to switch from the west. the day did get to 17C and mainly sunny.
Took some photos and may post a few later.
The suns angle played havoc with taking good pictures early in the morning.

By 9:15AM, the main parking lot was full with over 320+ rides and then the overflow was quite busy too.
A good eclectic mix of vehicles from a Ferrari, Pantera, Opel, MGB GT, Volvo P---, Jaguar, Peugeot and Corvettes plus the usual stuff such as pro-stockers, gassers, etc, Oh, there was one WTF, maybe two.
Quite a few clubs in attendance too: Mustang, Mopars, Firebrids, Pontiacs

There were a few CR memebers in attendance too.

A "WTF" at the show had many scratching their heads, I know it's their car and they drove it there. Maybe an old buick shell?

Obvious on a newer chassis, front end extended and lots of mud, I do mean lots of mud.

The hood ornament was good.

i believe it is dropped on a dodge truck chassis or something . the young fellow was quite proud of it . I followed him out of Airdrie last year . He actually drove it on the #2 towards calgary. 😲
