You dont see to many A axles on rods seeing they are fairly straight. Im shure you would have to do some monkeying around to convert it to hydraulic or find later backing plates and spindles. looks to be in nice shape for the money but you will end up spending a few hundred more to make it right unless its a restoration.
I purchased a Model A front axle from Joe's Speed Shop in Oklahoma. He has maybe a hundred in stock. He jig checks them for straight, cleans and magnafluxs them, verifies the king pin bearings and ships to Canada for about $150.00 Worth checking out if that is what anyone is looking for.
