Its next weekend guys , so dust off your trad rides get down to the Deerfoot hotel in south Calgary for the best weekend of the season.
Wicked bands Friday night and most of Saturday during the show, plus an awesome raffle prizes of a complete Lucky7 model A chassis. Cruizer Bike, Collectibles, and lots more!
The tickets for the raffle are $10 each , $25 for 3 , $40 for 5 , $100 for 20.
Come on guys , its gotta be worth coming to the show just to have a go at the raffle........and the pin up girls can't hurt either:D

Depending upon the weather the condition of the mud hole called a lane, will be there.

Too bad Race City is closed. I was looking forward to making a few passes with the HRT now that the clutch is broken in.
 
Too far for me to go but jumped in to say that I like the poster, would make nice garage art. :).
 
According to the weather, Saturday could be iffy....big weather front coming in from Montana.

Hope it stays there.

Well guys , regardless of the weather , the show will go on , the chassis will be raffled on Saturday and we will be having fun all weekend.

The Matadors and Eve Hell & the Razors on Friday night promises to be an awesome evenings entertainment , the burlesque girls might be fun too:D:D

Now , being English , i can assure you all that your cars will not melt if it rains , my car will be there all weekend.......in bare metal with no windows or seal around the roof and it will still be there for the hangover cruise on Sunday morning.

so dont worry what the weather forcasters say , get your cars out , get down to the Deerfoot , and lets have the best party all season....cos it will be -30 soon and snowing ,then what you gonna do

Spock, your enthusiasm is infectious, so the weather is changing for the morning and afternoon, plus it will be a bit warmer than first forcasted.

Your wondering about Saturday probably.
Saturday's show is basically from 10 AM to 7 pm or thereabouts,
then a party in a private room with the Diablos and guests.
Vendors and lots of raffles this year.

Sunday, once they get up and try various hangover remedies, theres's a cruise from the Deerfoot Inn to parts unknown (some of it includes Downtown locations) starting at 11 AM. Meet at the Deerfoot parking lot where the Saturday show was.

No closures of the Barlow at the SE end of town. I checked with the city. But that doesn't mean anything sometimes.

Why wouldn't you go down the Deerfoot to Barlow Trail SE (very deep se) and turn left onto 114 Ave to get to the Deerfoot Inn & Casino.

The other option is to turn off at the 24 St SE East exit (before the Barlow Trail SE exit) then turn right (Sobeys store) onto 114 Ave and follow it up the hill to the Deerfoot Inn & Casino.

Are you planning to come down Lee?
 
I'm only seeing it as a small size as well (180 x 278 pixels). Difference in settings perhaps?

I guess it started when I "accidentally" stepped on a spider this afternoon.

According to the latest weather forecast, it is going to be nasty starting sometime tonight and all day tomorrow with up to 40 MM of rain.

I just may melt with all that rain.
