On April 15, 2006 about 20+ of us converged in London for
a great day of cars, chat (mostly B.S. as is the usual)
and "comrodderie".
It started out with the mandatory breakfast, then a day
of five stops that had been arranged by our very own Wayne
"Rochie" Rochon.
We started out at Rick Dugas' shop, a race car builder
who's getting into rod chassis fabrication, then to Chandler
Technologies & Performance - John Chandler's cool fabrication
shop at the airport.
Next was Jerry Hoppe's place where we had a look at his
fine truck and blown grocery getter (and "wet our whistle").
We then made the trek to Steve Plunket's for a fab tour
of his beautiful grounds and his awesome collection of Caddies
(and then some). Thanks to Steve for spending as much time
as he did and for the wealth of info he provided about some
rare and very beautiful vehicles (V16's to die for). To
finish up, we landed at "Casa Rochon" for beverages
and tube steaks (yum).
It was a fun day and we would like to thank our bud "Rochie"
for organizing the whole shebang. Check out the pics below.
Enjoy.
