Keeping
our Cool with Be Cool

Here's an instance where we don't have to wait until the future
to report on the performance of a product as we just went through
one of the warmest summers on record. The good news?
The
good news is that we had no problems with our LS1 even in traffic
when cooled by our Be Cool radiator.
We
have a sequence of photos below showing our rad at various stages
of the installation with and without the AC condenser.

Looking pretty right out
of the box (but not just another pretty face). |

Completely
mocked up with tranny cooling lines,
Lowdown fabricated shroud and fan. |

Front

with the insert. |

An
additional detail worth noting relates to our hood sides. We decided
to go with a single, small, row of hot rod louvers at the bottom
rear corner of the hood side (punched by Lowdown). While these are
functional, they don't provide a ton of exit area for hot air. Despite
this and with our Be Cool rad, we stayed in good shape. Can't complain
about that. |
