As you’ll see in the accompanying photos, the body has been put right side up (with the underside painted) and Dave Bell is well into completing the work on the body. This is the time consuming process of blocking, adding filler, taking it off, adding more filler, taking it off, etc.

When Dave feels that it’s ready for a complete coat of PPG high build primer, the body is cleaned and then moved into the booth. After a few coats, it’s looking very good indeed.

If you look closely, you'll see the green masking tape separating the
painted area of the floor from the area to be painted.

Is Dave big or is a chopped '32 coupe body small? Both.

It's ready to go at this point.

It's moved outside and treated to a blast with compresses air.
