Smart
Parts Interior Door Handles
We mentioned at the beginning of our project that it was our desire
to use as many Canadian manufactured products as possible. As
such, we were pleased to come across the line from Smart Parts
of Kelowna, B.C.
What
first caught our attention were their interior door handles, which
is the subject of this profile. Smart Parts also offers arm rests,
neat looking accessory lights, speaker pods and has recently introduced
single and double hood/trunk release cable kits and a floor mounted
accelerator pedal.
Getting
back to the interior door handles, they come in two sizes: a smaller
version at 4 3/4" wide and a larger at 5 5/8 " wide.
The are machined from billet aluminum and come in either a machine
finish (satin) or polished. We ordered ours polished.
The
machining and overall quality is top notch with a sturdy handle
mechanism and a super-flex cable with a return spring at the cable
end. Nice touch.
