Yeah, Alan’s
got a bitchin’ car. Looks great standing still and
going fast. I’ve been beside him in a parking lot
and on the highway so I know. We don’t have to mention
what the inspiration was here but Alan has put his own
spin on a classic.
He started with a Ramrod body with a 3 inch chop, added
a 355/400 HP Chevy, SoCal Buick Drums and a traditional
dropped axle. He steers through a Flaming River Column
& box. Sanderson Limefire Headers provide looks
and scavenge exhaust.
Out back is a 9 inch Ford rearend with Currie racing
axles and Heidt’s coilovers. The interior is custom
white tuck & roll (of course) over a Glide bench.
The car spins on chrome reverse rims with Silvertown
wide whites. Paint is Canary Yellow. Alan added drip
rails, a cowl vent, door handles, outside hinges and
a stock firewall to the Ramrod body.
Nice ride Alan.
