Days earlier, "Time Bomb" John St. Germain called an organizers' meeting on Main Street and gave the instruction that we should keep repeating "it isn't going to rain, it isn't going to rain.." Kind of reminiscent of "there's no place like home" which worked for Dorothy but given that we didn't have any ruby slippers...

I think that, as we stood in a torrential downpour at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the event, I heard him mutter something like "it is going to stop, it is going to stop". As noted above, it did stop and to quote John, "the juice was worth the squeeze" as it turned out to be a fantastic day.
