1932 Ford Roadster-
Owned by Frank Colgoni
Markham, Ontario, Canada
I (your Cruise Night
host) would like to thank Time Bombs for the recognition but would like to
use this space to recognize the people responsible for this vehicle.
Originally conceived as a project car for Horton Street Rods, the car was
built by Tom VanDerGeld, now o/o of Lowdown Hot Rods in Cambridge. Thanks
to Garry Thompson of Cambridge for metal fabrication (including hood top,
sides and roof) and for the flames. Thanks also to Bill Simmonds for assisting
with prep and painting. The car debuted in 1998 at the Detroit Autorama in
the Ridler competition and, thanks to these craftsmen, subsequently competed
successfully at Performance World - Toronto, World of Wheels - Niagara Falls
and Speedorama - Toronto.
